As WebGL support and stability increases across major browsers, we will continue to see impressive demonstrations of its use. Thus far, my favorite demo is the “100,000 Stars” Chrome Experiment, in which allows you to selectively zoom from an overview of the Milky Way galaxy all the way down to a close-up of the Sun, revealing nearby stars and star systems along the way.
