We are super excited over here at Powderkeg that we were named one of the top places to work in Madison, WI by Madison Magazine! We work hard at Powderkeg to make sure our employees know how much they are appreciated. The tight-knit relationships our team has to go along with the numerous team events and outings make the collaboration truly special.
Our work space was designed for the team, by the team to be a creative and fun atmosphere. The space includes an open concept collaborative work area, massive chalkboard wall and a lounge complete with standing desks, couches and a TV. All the art hung in the office was hand picked by designers and developers who work here and see it every day. We keep a fridge stocked with enough energy drinks to kill a horse as well as water, soda and La Croix for those currently rehabbing from energy drinks. Of course a favorite of everyone is our Powderkeg catered lunch days.
It is easy to buy a bunch of cool stuff for your team, but at Powderkeg we also listen to our team members on what they suggest would make their work more productive and fun. Recently we did just that and instituted a work from home program that has been a monster success in both work/life balance as well as productivity. In addition to that, we are constantly getting great ideas for team building and social gathering events that we try to do as much as possible.
We are truly honored to have been recognized as a Best Places to Work. We hope to continue evolving our employee enrichment programs and keep showing our team that we care and are always listening to their suggestions. Here’s to a 2018 repeat!
