About the Speakers

Brittany Kalscheur
Her passion for art and design led her to study Graphic Design and Web & Digital Media Development at University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. After college, Brittany moved to Madison, got involved in the local design scene, and soon landed at Powderkeg. She has worked on a wide variety of projects including e-commerce websites, responsive websites, mobile apps, online advertising, and branding.

Elise Chan
Elise is originally from southern Illinois where she spent her childhood making short films, exploring her passion for photography, and being involved with music in any way possible (band, piano lessons, choir, musicals). She then went on to study at Illinois State University, earning a bachelor’s in Graphic Communication and a master’s in Project Management.

James Roloff
James Roloff is the Sales Director for Powderkeg Web Design. He has more than 15 years of experience in website management and administration. He has created multiple hobby websites, some of which he monetized through SEO and content building. He also wrote the book “The Inbound Advantage,” which provides fundamentals of a digital sales strategy.

Harland Guy
Harland grew up in the Chicago suburbs and has diverse background in real estate, brand management, and recreation. He received a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism from Colorado State University. About a year and a half ago he moved to Madison from Los Angeles and loves the small city atmosphere, great trail systems and active lifestyle.
